Conversation with one of my patients today:
Patient: "You keep yourself looking slim and trim."
Me: Thanks, .........!
Patient: "I like someone who's pleasingly plump."
Me:
Patient: Well, your not there.
Me: Thanks, ........!
In the span of five seconds, I went from feeling really great to totally deflated.
